It takes the women approx. a week to embroider one cover. Embroidery is a central craft tradition passed down through generations of South Sudanese women. In the camp, the women form collectives that make pillow covers using this traditional technique. Together with her daughter, Grace generates income for her family through this project. Pillow filling is not included.
