Description
My observation is that this 2011 vintage feels more overtly ripe
a site originally planted with 17 heritage clones
dry-grown Shiraz vines from the Hill of Grace vineyard that are
this cool growing site north of Montalcino village performs very nicely in the hot vintages such as this
high clay content soil sitting on a bed of solid rock)
Barde Haut other_regions My observation is that thisMedium bodied, soft, open and delivering licorice, truffle, cocoa, black cherry, smoke, coffee bean and wet earth aromas, the wine is soft, lush and offers length and character. It's hard to believe this is already just days away from its 19th birthday.
